Looking for Alaska by John Green review

I recently finished Looking for Alaska by John Green - found here - so I decided to do a nice review for you all.

Looking for Alaska:
Miles Halter's whole life has been one big non-event, until he meets Alaska Young.
Gorgeous, clever and undoubtedly screwed up, Alaska draws Miles into her reckless world and irrevocably steals his heart. For Miles, nothing can ever be the same again.

When I read the first few chapters of this I wasn't too sure of it if I'm being honest. Although my feelings very quickly changed and I pretty much fell in love with it. It follows the life of Pudge (Miles) who goes to a boarding school in Alabama called Culver Creek. Pudge meets a girl called Alaska Young who he instantly falls in love with and the rest of the book pretty much follows the events of Culver Creek with Pudge and Alaska. (I know I am not the best at describing or summarising so sorry). Anyway I thought that especially the second part of this book (or the 'after' section) was especially amazing. I am a fan of John Green's books anyway but this has put him up there in amongst my favourite authors. This, like most other John Green books, literally makes you feel the emotions that the characters are feeling and of course, makes you cry.
I will stop this post now before I end up spoiling the entire book to you because I get a bit over excited about this. I's definitely recommend you to read this book and The Fault in our Stars because they are two of my favourite John Green books and they are just perf.
